  • 1. When someone asks you for change and you decide not to, it's because...
a.) You don't feel like taking the time to awkwardly find loose change on you
b.) You assume they'll be buying alcohol or drugs with that money

  • c) I really don't have any change.

  • jon) cuz its MY money and i earned it...plus how many times did other people give me change? hardly ever! AND i had them at knifepoint! j/k hahah

  • c) because they smell

  • if someone needs change and i can make change i always offer

  • C) because i think they are way too damb lazy to get a freakin job.  i work hella hard for my flo.  i got my own ish to support.  but i've been know to give some bums $20 bills.  so i guess its all on my mood.

  • i agree with jon. j.k HAHAHHHA.

  • c) i don't have small enough change (<$10 bills)
    d) they press too hard

generally i'll give homeless people money though, unless they're being too up in my face about it

  • haha the bum asked me for change when i was doing my laundry at the laundry mat so HE knew i had change.  Plus he was sitting by my car drinking a 40oz.  So i told him wait till i get out of the laundry mat and lemme see if i have any change.  I knew he was gunna buy another drink.  But i mean heck if i was in his position id probably do the same. I gave him a dollars worth in quarters lol.  I walked around to the front of the laundry mat, and there was a corner liquor store... he walks right into it as i pass.  Its okay i walked away with a smile, knowing i did my good deed for the day ;)

  • you're also forgetting the simpler reason of plain selfishness. or you simply dont have change.

  • B. --- but when i actually stop to think about it; itll take them awhile to gather enough to buy drugs or alchohol.  Dont know why that is the first thought that comes to me.........'theyre going to buy booze or drugs'  I guess thats what was programmed into me as a kid growing up in the city.

That reminds me of this bum that i would see on Van Ness, he would always sit at the exit of the Burger King.  So you see him when you drive up and see him as you leave the drive through.  I bought him lunch pleanty of times.  Lucky for him Whoppers are 99cents.

  • usually its neither a or b. ... sometimes i just feel stingy. = but i usually give away food to the homeless people .. like an extra hamburger or leftover rice and chicken, or maybe a simple snack like a granola bar.
