  • I've been feeling a little . . .

    However . . .

                       I must keep my chin up . . .

    because:

                     Optimism
is such an innocence and such a great strength. When people betray,
when invested trust fails, when life beans you with a curve ball,
optimism gives you the will to move on- to pick yourself up and take
your free walk to first base. Look upon your adversities and
adversaries forgivingly, don't ever let go of your optimism! Life's
bound to thrash you with its share of disappointments and tribulation,
but don't let these things rape your innocence from you! "Being
disappointed is one thing and being discouraged is something else." It's
all about mindset and it's all about willpower. "1 percent is what
happens to you, and 99 percent is how you react to it."
    To start
thinking negatively is to take a step off the hiking trail and onto the
steep, slippery side, which is easier to just slide further down
than it is to climb back up. So beware of friends, music, and other
influences which try to push you off this path of optimism and down the
ravine of despair. -written April 14, 2004

    Now,
                go on . .

    live!

  • I love you! I am an awful girlfriend =(

  • i've been feeling a little unlucky myself.  but its all good.

  • Who or what has done this to you to make u discouraged and optimistic?  If your adversaries need a beating.  let me know

  • thats a little bit of what i needed to hear. oh nice person...i've been learning alot about being okay with the trials and just walking through them with Jesus. bad/hard stuff happens whether we're good or bad, whether we deserve it or not. but seeing how God's been reminding me he's with me through them has been very VERY nice.

  • wow. that's kinda. weird. do you know Tagorda??

  • ah i love your entry, been feelin pretty sh*tty lately due to many personal problems ...and although i have the same mindset as what you've just written above, it always helps to be reminded sometimes with inspiration, thanks ^_~

  • ryc:  nope!  i'm the executive chef for a small hotel in pomona.  you might be able to catch me on the food network's behind the bash sometime within the next few months.  i helped my good friend ryan wagner with the days of our lives 40th aniversary at the paladium.  here is a link of some pics from the event http://www.celebrityinternational.com/days40pics/main.html .  too bad i'm not in any of these pics and neither is my friend who was in charge.  weird.
